MORE THAN SECURE
We opted to have all our products tested by the SKG®. This is an independent, internationally recognized Dutch institution who have been testing security hardware since 1983. As well as security, they also test quality and durability. Their tests include cylinders, locks, door handle sets, padlocks, storages of valuables and window safety devices for manufacturers around the world. When the tests are complete, the SKG® determines which of the three classes the product will be assigned to, from one to three stars.
These classes differ from the British Standard, so a cylinder that is SKG 3* can still be BS 1*. We are in the process of having our cylinders tested to meet the British Standard TS007 (3*). We expect this process to be complete in Q3 2019.
FULLY MODULAR SYSTEM
All of our cylinders use our Modulock™ modular system. This is a fully modular system that saves the locksmith time, money and space.
- Time: our cylinders can be resized or converted to a thumbturn in minutes, without repinning or invalidating the British Standard, whether keyed alike or keyed to differ. This means you can do everything on-site: no need to place a special order and return to the job days later.
- Money: no need to invest in a huge stock of cylinders in every conceivable size. Using our modular kit, you can create any size of cylinder you need.
- Space: our modular kit comes in compact, convenient cases that stack in an easy-to-carry handled box.
MORE THAN SECURE
Our growing product range of security cylinders, security door handle sets and Security Bars all meet the demands of the highly esteemed Dutch quality mark SKG® and the PKVW® police hallmark. We are even taking it a step further. Just to give you a good night’s sleep. More than secure.
Burglars are constantly looking for new ways to achieve their criminal ends. And we are constantly finding new ways to prevent them. At M&C we are not only developing new products. We’re also improving the existing range. With the inspiration we get from lockpickers. Lockpicking is a sport. A ‘door hardware sport’. It is the art of opening a lock without damaging it or using a key. These athletes analyse very complex locks for weaknesses. We take this newly gathered knowledge back to the drawing board. The unique combination of knowhow and field experience makes sure that we manage to deliver you high quality security products.
